Hi, I'm Diandra — fashion designer, passionate surfer, and founder of AFATO.

It all started in the water. During a surf camp, right in the middle of the waves, I realized something I couldn't ignore: women's surfwear constantly shifts and becomes a distraction. Instead of enjoying the wave, I found myself adjusting my bikini top over and over again.

As a fashion designer, I knew there had to be a better way. I spent six years working in the German fashion industry, where I learned one fundamental truth: the foundation of great design is the pattern. That's exactly what I brought into AFATO. I developed my own patterns from scratch—timeless, athletic, and engineered to stay in place in real surf.

And that's what sets AFATO apart from so many other brands. Every single style is designed by me and tested where it matters most: in the waves of Bali.
