Refund policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (AFATO Surfwear, Diandra Stelljes & Fabian Tappert Textil GbR, Eutiner Straße 30, 27751 Delmenhorst, Germany, Email: hello@afato-surfwear.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached sample cancellation form, but this is not mandatory.

To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

CONSEQUENCES OF CANCELLATION
If you cancel this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notice of cancellation.

For the refund, we will use the same payment method you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. Under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any case no later than twenty-one days from the day on which you notified us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of twenty-one days has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties, and functionality.
